Voices 2022: The national writing competition for children in and leaving care

Thank you so much to everyone who entered Voices 2022, all your writing, poems, songs, raps, articles and stories were fantastic. We had so many amazing entries and it was incredibly hard to pick a shortlist and then winners!

A huge thank you to Peter Capaldi, for hosting the competition and providing ongoing support and Sophia Alexandra Hall for hosting this year’s competition with Peter.

A big thank you as well to our fantastic judges, Jarvis, Patrice Lawrence, Jenny Molloy, Chris Wild, Mr Gee, Callen Martin, Emma Norry, and Stacey Halls, as well as our brilliant young judges Jessica, Teoni, Claire and Carla.

We would also like to thank Cadence Innova, for being our Headline Sponsor for the Voices Awards and for their continuing support of the Voices competition and wider Coram Voice work.

Also a big thank you to all the shortlisters who took the time to read through so many amazing entries. Thank you to all charities, virtual schools, local authorities, social workers and youth groups for helping share information about Voices and supporting young people to get involved and find their voice.

Also thank you to any one else who donated, a prize, their time and support to Voices 2022.

Can’t wait to see you all again next year for Voices 2023!
