Working for Coram Voice
We are committed to providing high quality, child-centred services. In order to deliver these services we need the right people - workers who are supportive, professional and keen to achieve real improvements for the children and young people we help.
Coram Voice is looking for a wide variety of people to take on our roles, however we would particularly welcome applications from care leavers or individuals with experience of being 'looked after' by the state.
We are also actively encouraging applicants from Asian, African and Caribbean backgrounds to join our staff and freelance pool. We recognise we are a predominantly white workforce and are genuinely committed to encouraging candidates from diverse communities in order to improve the services to the children and young people we help.

Working towards quality through equality and the development of a diverse workforce
Coram Voice run a young people’s participation project for children and young people who are involved with Stockport Youth Offending Service. The service aims to support young people to have their say in how the service runs and how it can best support them to achieve positive outcomes.
Independent Visitors are volunteers who befriend and spend time with a child or young person within Local Authority care. Our volunteers enjoy the challenge of building a lasting friendship and the children benefit greatly from a consistent, fun relationship with someone outside the care system.
