We were glad to see the government response to the Independent Review of Children’s Social Care and welcome that they have highlighted consultation with children and young people as key.
However, we are concerned that the financials outlined are not enough to fully support the children and young people who need care from the state.
We will continue to review the strategy and respond fully in the coming weeks.
