Children have consistently said that they don’t like being sat in a contact room with someone tapping on a keyboard, that contact feels unnatural and that they don’t see all of the people who are important to them – as illustrated in the Staying Connected report.
North Yorkshire developed a model and tools to help improve opportunities for children to be as naturally connected to their network as possible and to always strive to make arrangements better.
This case study was originally shown in the ‘Staying connected with family’ webinar.
