Have your say on the revised National Standards for Advocacy Services

Coram Voice welcome the Department for Education’s consultation on proposed updates to the National Standards and statutory guidance for the Provision of Children’s Advocacy Services.

It has been over 20 years since the last standards were published so this is a rare opportunity for professionals and young people to give their views on how children’s advocacy should be delivered. The deadline for responses is 18th December 2023.

Coram Voice plan to respond to the consultation and are running workshops to gather feedback from staff as well as consulting with young people at our upcoming Amplify 2023 event. We also encourage everyone with an interest in this area of work to submit their own responses to help shape advocacy provision.
