Ed shares his unique story about getting into and competing at diving, and the positive impact it had on his life. He highlights the important role his foster carers and social workers played in supporting his journey by encouraging his involvement, taking him to training and helping him access the right resources.
This presentation was part of a wider webinar which focused on a Local Government Association (LGA) report which gave guidance on how professionals can improve opportunities for physical activity for care-experienced children and young people. The report was commissioned by the LGA, and was written by Coram Impact and Evaluation, in partnership with Coram Voice and Stormbreak.
