From the age of 16, all children in care, as well as care leavers up to age 21/25, are entitled to a pathway plan. Through our work with children and young people over many years, we know that pathway plans, whether due to the failure to provide one or concerns around its content, continue to be a significant issue for those in and leaving care.
This 1.5-hour online masterclass will provide a clear and practical overview of what pathway planning is, how advocates can support young people throughout the process, and how to challenge a poor-quality plan.
It is suitable for participants with little or no prior knowledge of the topic, as well as those seeking a refresher.
