Coram Voice is a lead provider in Independent Person, Independent Investigating Officers, Stage 3 Panel Members and Chairs for complaints under the Children Act 1989.  The service is available to local authorities and also the voluntary and charitable sector and can be provided under an annual contract or spot purchase.

Since 1989 our diverse group of highly experienced Independent Persons have been bringing added value to any complaints investigation.The degree of impartiality they offer to the complaints process ensures that the work is robust as well as fair. Feedback confirms the standard of their reports is consistently high. 

Our  Independent Persons have been selected, trained and DBS checked in accordance with Coram Voice’s rigorous procedures. They receive case discussion  and support from Coram Voice and the wider Coram Group, including peer support sessions, ongoing training, and access to advice via Coram Children’s Legal Centre.  All of their work is quality assured.

We are also able to provide Investigating Officers and Independent Chairs and Panel Members for Stage 3 panels.
