If you have spent any time in care after your 16th birthday, then it is very likely that you will be entitled to support from Children’s Services as a care leaver, up to age 25.
If you spent time in care as a child before being under a Special Guardianship Order (SGO) you will be a care leaver, with rights as a qualifying care leaver.
If you were Privately Fostered you may be a care leaver, with rights as a qualifying care leaver but you should seek advice on this rather than use this quiz.
It can be very complicated to know exactly what support you should be getting from Children’s Services. We have tried to make things a bit easier for you, by answering the questions you can learn more about the support you should get.
But you should always get some professional advice about your leaving care status and your rights. You can ask your personal advisor (PA) or social worker, an advice service, or Coram Voice.
