A National Voice Awards 2025 now open

  • 30 July 2025

A National Voice (ANV) Awards are an opportunity to champion and recognise the incredible work of children in care councils, care leaver forums, and other participation groups within children’s social care across England. This year marks the fourth annual ANV Awards, where we shine a spotlight on the creativity, advocacy and impact of groups supporting children in care and care leavers aged 4 to 25.

Who can nominate?

Any adult working with the group (e.g. participation workers, social workers, foster carers, or project leads) can nominate a group.

Award categories

  • Campaign Award: For groups who have developed or taken part in a meaningful campaign.
  • Participation Award: For groups actively involved in participation within their local authority.
  • Voice Award: For groups who have shared their story to help improve the care system.
  • Digital Award: For groups who have used digital tools (e.g. videos, social media, websites) to create or promote work, or to build spaces for care-experienced young people to come together.
