Amplify saw A National Voice ambassadors introduce their campaign for the year.
The government recently recommended that local authorities increase their leaving care grant from £2,000 to £3,000 and A National Voice want the following:
- All local authorities to offer the full £3000 to all care leavers up to 25
- No more postcode lottery
- Clear and consistent guidelines and entitlements
The session at Amplify aimed to inform children and young people of the uplift and to get them on board.

A National Voice then directed an activity called ‘My perfect home’, tasking individuals, pairs, and groups, to use their phones to find all the items they would choose to furnish their dream home. The room had no budget but they needed to add up each item they found as they went along.
