Our helpline is staffed by Always Heard Advocates, who are here to help with anything you need.
Contact our helpline if you:
- Are in care, leaving care or need help from Children’s Services.
- Want to know about your rights.
- Are not getting the support you need from your social worker.
- Just want some help, or to be listened to.
COVID-19 – We have been working throughout the pandemic to support children and young people with advice and advocacy support.
If you need an advocate just get in touch. Advocates can meet with you in person if thats what you would like (and it can be done safely). Advocates can also support you using the phone, email or video and other messaging apps.

Standard Opening Hours
Our Advocates are there to answer your call from Monday to Friday 9.30am–6pm and Saturday 10am–4pm.
If you want to speak to someone outside these times and your call is urgent, phone and leave a message and someone will phone you back. We’ll always try to help you straight away and always get back to you within 24 hours.
If English is not your first language, our Advocate will get an interpreter to join your call.
