This year A National Voice have been working on a campaign around the leaving care grant increase. The government recently recommended that local authorities increase their leaving care grant from £2,000 to £3,000 and A National Voice want the following:
– All local authorities to offer the full £3000 to all care leavers up to 25
– No more postcode lottery
– Clear and consistent guidelines and entitlements
